Dude. I found “my people.” And of all places… in Salt Lake City at Altitude Design Summit, known better in the design blogger’s world simply as “Alt.”

Being surrounded by creatives that adore fashion, interior design and food (as much as I do) was refreshing. Plus, it didn’t hurt that almost everything I laid my hands on was wrapped in a bow.

The food? Delicious. And well-adorned.

My favorite conference I’ve attended yet? For sure. And that backdrop of snow-capped mountains was just the cherry on top of the cake.

And, hey! The founder of Pinterest even made an appearance.

Between all of the learning, talking, eating, etc., the best part was being surrounded by people that were not afraid to be themselves. I love those types of people. So, if that means rocking the glittery shoes, winged-out eyeliner and bold patterns, then go ahead and knock your funky socks off.
